NEET UG 2022: NTA extends last date for registration

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2022 registrations can now be done beyond May 6, 2022, as well. National Testing Agency, NTA has extended the last date to apply for the NEET-UG exam. NEET application forms can now be filled till May 15, 2022, on the official website - neet.nta.nic.in.
NEET 2022 Exam will be held on July 17, 2022. Candidates are informed that the exact reasons for the extension of the NEET-UG application deadline are not known. However, with the form filling, the payment of fees can also be done till May 15, 2022.
Till now, more than 11 lakh NEET applications have been received by NTA. In 2021, nearly, 16 lakh candidates appeared for the medical entrance exam. Even this time, the figures are expected to be around this, if not more. Check the revised date(s) and steps to apply below.

NEET UG 2022: How to fill out the application form?
Aspirants can follow the procedures below to complete the NEET 2022 application form.
- Go to the NTA official website – neet.nta.nic.in
- Click the ‘New registration’ button on the new page.
- Before filling out the form, carefully read the instructions.
- To register for NEET, provide your personal information to generate an application number and password.
- After that, fill out the application form by logging in with your application number and password.
- Fill in your personal, academic, and contact information, as well as exam centers and dress code, on the NEET application form 2022
- Upload your passport and postcard-size photos, signature, and left-hand thumb impression following the guidelines.
- Pay the NEET application fees online
- For future reference, download and print the confirmation.
Documents required for NEET-UG 2022 application form :
Candidates must have the following documents to fill out the NEET 2022 application form:
- Aadhaar card number
- Class 10 and Class 12 certificate
- valid government-issued identification numbers like passport number, ration card number, or bank account
- Scanned documents of the passport-size photograph, signature, left-hand thumb impression,
- Class 10 pass certificate, and postcard size photograph
- Credit/Debit card, Net Banking, UPI payment gateway details.
